Question:

My sons honda 50 wont start was running great,quit while riding it ,good spark compression,and gets fuel?

it has good spark and compression seems good,gets fuel and has a new ngk plug in it,was riding it and just quit and now it wont start,acts like it wants too,but just won't also has a new air filter,new oil, any suggestions would be appreciated

  1. I would say get to the carb. and pour a couple drops of gas in there. try starting it then with the cap off of the carb. if it starts let it run for 30 seconds, put the cap on and go.


  2. compression, fuel, and spark, leaves air, ck the rubber boot from carb to cylinder, they have a habit of coming loose, and too much air will cause this, especially while riding, also look close for cracks in it, you didn't say what year it is, but after a couple years they get hard and crack or don't seal.
