My sony erricson w801i keeps randomnly braking, help?

hey, my w810i randomnly just stuck at a white screen last week i didn't drop it/damage it nothing, and it's keep breaking now, i have charged it to fully charged tried everything and it's still broke. when i turn it on i get a white screen with vibrating for like 15 seconds/it gets to the bit where it says start phone/play music then the screen goes off but the buttons are still lighted i've tried loads of stuff but it ain't working, how do i fix it?

  1. I have the Sony Ericsson W300i, when i first got it it was fine for the first few days then started doing what you have described happening to yours. So i called up the shop where i got it and explained what was happening they said it shouldn't be doing that and within a few days they sent me a new one.


  2. That's not an easy fix. You are getting the white screen of death. SE phones are prone to failing in this way.  There's one thing that you could try but it has risks. You can get a DCU60 cable and download the SE firmware Updater app and try flashing your phone with a SE update. Doing this could fix it or brick it. If it bricks, then you have to go through a more complicated flashing procedure.

    Just use your warranty and get a new phone.
