My sony laptop vaio VGN-CR21S..?

my laptop has no sound, i checked the volume buttons and driver, all indicate working properly, but when i plun in speakers there is sound.

Whats the problem and how do i go about getting the sound back without relying on the external speakers?

try rolling back the sound driver, or updating it. theirs a slight chance this is due to faulty wiring or interference.
