My sound isnt working on my computer?

HELP, I CANT WATCH MOVIES, OR LISTEN TO MUSIC. my speakers r turned on, but i cant hear any sound, wen my speakers r on, there is a blue light, but there isnt a blue light on and no sound is coming out, if i lift them up a bit and wack them down, i pops, and the light comes on for a second, wat do i do, how do i get me sound to work again, its doing my head in.

Your computer might have been set to mute.

Look for the speaker symbol on the bottom toolbar and have a look there.

hm how about checking the electricity for your speakers. push in the cable.
