My spacer is about to fall out?

i got spacers put in this morning and one is already broke! its still in my tooth but its broke in half and im scared its going to fall out! but the thing is...im leaving for vacation tomorrow and so if it falls out, i wont be able to go to the orthrodontist and get it changed! What do I do? Is there something else i could put between my teeth that would do the same job?

if u can make an appt early in the morin as soon as u can it honestly take like 5 mins and u need them in so that they can put the brackets around ur tooth with sapce if their is no space it will hurt when they try to put it on

Do not use anything else.     Call the orthodontist and explain the situation.  Sometimes you can just have it put back when you return from vacation.   At times spacers only need a day or two to do their job.    Sometimes they can give you extra spacers to take on vacation with you,  and show you how to use floss to put a new one inbetween your teeth.

ok well my dentist said its ok if they fall out that means that they have done there job so it s ok

don't put anything between your teeth! Phone your orthodontist. my cousin went on a cruise and the day before, the wire on his braces came out! his orthodontist took out the wire for the cruise, and he was fine. how long is your vacation? it's fine you will be fine.

Don't put anything else into your mouth!

Try to make an emergency appt. with your orthodontist. This will only take a few minutes.

If there are no openings, then get it replaced after your vacation- you may just need to wear it a little longer.
