1. depends on age, i grew up racing. start with something that is mellow, XR 100 or some bigger xr dr are very mellow bikes, keep it mellow , as you get better get something like 450 kx,

  2. I would say a Harley super glide custom, or if yo want a crotch rocket a gsxr 650

  3. Either 250cc VStar (Virago) or Kymco is a good first bike for some people. 500cc Vulcan is suitable for others

    .

You should be able to sit on the bike with your feet flat on the ground and your arms loose (spaghetti arms) with your hands on the grips.

  4. Street or dirt?

  5. if ur looking at a croch rocket dont do anything more than a 600cc at all. u shoudl try out lower if u have never ridden before otherwise try the suzuki gsxr600, yamaha r6, kawi 636 or honda cbr600

  6. Consider the Honda Shadow. The Kawasaki Vulcan or the Suzuki boulavard may also be an option for you. Depends on your size and the size of bike you are comfortable with. One of the best things to do is to go to a dealership and sit on some to what fits you well and doesn't seem too heavy.

  7. Don't know, but probably something that is cheap, not too heavy and easy to control.

    Snow Man

  8. A perfect learner motorcycle for 17 years and up is what I have; a Gilera DNA 125. Automatic - no need to worry about gears, yet it goes over 70mph and has insane acceleration. It's a lovely looking bike, classed as a scooter. Low insurance class, tax is only £15/year.

  9. Something carburated is easier to learn on, injected bikes take more finesse and are less forgiving if you give it too much throttle.
