When my speakers have the volume all the way down I hear a faint, cracky noise, like a radio station. How do I stop it? And is it ruining my speakers?

Thanks.

  1. yea that happens to me too!!! but i dont think you can do anything about it, i haven't. its that even if speakers dont have antennas that doesnt mean they wont get reception like with any other device. that what it does in the FCC disclaimers (the government institution that decide what electronics use the radio waves) that it has to accept interference of any kind.

  2. Sounds like an electrical short causing interference in the amplifier or possibly the power connection. Is not easy to narrow down. Could be easy to fix(loose wire) or a faulty component.
