  1. Well that might be a virus. Remember that Every time you just wanted to use File-sharing or torrents programs, USE an anti-virus which has a ON protection.

But I think the problem should be from your PC volume which is closed completely. So try the following:

    1. Turn on your speakers, connect them to the correct place at the rear panel of your computer case, put the volume of your speakers at the middle.

    2. Restart your PC, wait for it to come up, wait to listen to the coming up sound of your windows, if you could hear it you have problem number 11. if you couldn't hear it you have the problem number 12

    Problem number 11:

In this mode, you PC shows that everything is correct with your PC sound and it's just the problem of your speakers out put which is muted. so what you have to do is to double click on the speakers icon at the task bar and see the config, put the wave and volume at the highest point and uncheck any mute check box. play a song to test your speakers with windows media player and don't forget to put the player's volume at the highest point too.

    Problem number 12:

If you really couldn't hear that windows welcome sound, first of all try the instructions of Problem number 11. if that didn't help, you have to update you sound driver. If you don't have an on-board sound card and you bought an Extra sound card, you should update it with the CD in the sound card box. If you have an On-board sound card then you have to update the driver with the CD they gave you in the mother-board box.

    How to update?

For updating your sound drive you need to do the following:

    1. Click on start> right click on my computer> click on properties> switch to hardware tab> click on Device Manager.

    2. Try to find sound and audio devices> right click on them> click on update driver. wait for the wizard to come up, insert the required CD> choose your source as the CD> let it search for it's update on the CD> if it could find the update, install the update. at the end restart your PC.

    3. If you updated you driver and you can't still hear the windows welcome sound, try to do the instructions of Problem number 11 again.

Surely the sound WILL COME BACK.

    Hope it helps.
