My speakers broke!How do I fix them?

Ok.My speakers broke like 3 months ago but I just bothered with them.We bought new speakers today and they don't work either.We plugged it in to the computer and the electricity outlet.I turned them on and they don't work.I checked in my little thingy in start.The "My Computer"Thing.They were up to the highest it would go and it wasnt on mute.What should I do.

  1. Your plug in port on the computer might be damaged.  Try plugging in headphones to see if they work, or any other speakers you may have.  If you have any other speaker ports on your computer try plugging the speakers in there.  Also, to verify that your new and OLD speakers work plug them into another computer or stereo.

  3. do you mean they dont work like no power?

    if there is power, then its something on the computer. can you adjust the volume? if you cant reinstall the sound driver of your computer.  Better if you call tech support of your comp manufacturer.
