My squash wont grow?

i planted about the first of jun i had to get rid of some because of bugs but saved some and moved them into a swimming pool to grow i added dirt to them and they lookrd good for a while looked like they were going to start growing even flowers bloomed on all but still no squash plants why help

They are heavy feeders and need lots of water. When you say the flowers bloomed are they gone now? Can you see

any little green nubs where the flowers where? wait a while

and see if they don't show up. Keep feeding them and

giving them water.
