  1. If it's only one, and she's never had contact with a male, it's a dud... (unless she's holy Mary mother of Tortoise Jesus.)

    My suggestion:

Toss it in the garbage before it breaks and stinks the place up.

  2. well tortoise guru has told you how to do an incubator so i won't bother repeating it, but you do need to keep an eye on your tortosie as they usually lay more than one egg, so there may be more on the way, you need to watch out for the mum patrolling her enclosure more and digging nests, she may go off her food as well just before she lays again, but if she stops eating for more than a week or seems off colour take her to a reptile vet as she could be egg bound, best of luck honey hope you get some babies,

  3. They need to be put in an incubator.

  4. Make yourself an omelette.

  5. get a Tupperware container and put sand in it and bury the egg 3' deep, put a heat lamp over it, that should help the egg stay alive until you find a incubator. THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT HOME, remember do not tip or turn the egg,

    congrats your a grandparent!
