My starcraft is laggy?

SC wont work for me, everytime i join a game, it lags up major in the lobby, and if someone starts the game, it drops me from the game.

help please?

Sorry, not expert.

I had the same issues before. You should check your internet connection. Look at your latency. To do this, Start-Run-ping www.google.com If it is below 100, then your internet is not the problem. If not, close your fire walls and try it.

Also, choose the server that is closest to you. There are West and East America servers.

Ok well either you have a bad internet connection or your firewall is being overactive, if you have dial up or something slow then you really have no choice, but if it is a firewall you should be able to go to the blizzard support website and find what port numbers to open, if not just google search how to open ports for startcraft, it should tell you step by step, what to open and where you go to open them.
