My steering on my 1997 z71?

i have a 1997 z71 and i was wondering what would cause it be hard to turn when im going slow,but when i speed up and press the gas it turns just fine......

might need to check your power steering...check the hoses, fluid level, etc. Similar thing happened to mine

Check you power steering fluid and the power steering pump belt.

I think your power steering pump is either low on fluid or you need a new pump.
