Hey everyone, in my 1997 Chrysler Sebring LXi i installed a Sony CDX-GT300. When i hook up my Creative Zen to the player via auxiliary cable and input the sound is not produced on all 4 speakers, unless, i put the cord in a certain position. After i have gotten my cord in that certain position i tape the cord down so that it will stay like that and produce the sound on all 4 speakers. After i have done this it sounds perfect, crisp, and clear but when i take the tape off it sounds fine on one side of the car, but no sound on the other. If you know what may be causing this or know how to correct this problem any and all information will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks - Alex D.

  1. Well to me it sounds like it has a short in it....Trying buying new cable and rewiring it..=)

  2. I have the same problem, my dad said that happened because it was a cheap cord, and it wasn't getting a good connection. I'm gonna try sand papering one end of the cord and putting it in the radio to see if it gets a better connection, if that doesn't work, I'll buy a better cord (one that doesn't cost 4.99 at wal mart)
