I've never been an AMAZING athlete but every year I just seem to get better and better, while others stay the same. My younger brother is a better runner than me , while I'm stronger and a better sprinter, swimmer, cylcler, and swimmer. I'm a decent runner , and I continue to improve every year, alot if I work at it.

I do triatholons and I was reading up on a condition I have called Pectus Carinatum (Pigeon chest). Some reports say it significatly decreases endurance, increases pulse, and so on... Is this true? I didn't think it affected me... I don't really have any problems with breathing... my pulse is pretty low for my age... I seem to be in good shape. I'm sceptiple about these reports, my doctor says it only affects the way I look. It doesn't stick out much really doesn't bother me that much. Does it really decrease my aerobic capacity?

  1. No.. Not everyone goes through the same effects... AND ARE YOU SURE YOU TRULY HAVE 100% PECTUS CARINATUM? To me, you are fine and seem to be in much better shape than I am... If the doctor says you are fine, then u r... To be truthful to you, some girls dig those type of chests... And if u truly have it and it affects your look, so what? Don't worry... You ain't gonna die from it! LOL! Keep up in shape!

I did some research on it... You can wear a brace to fix it!!!
