Question:

My stomach has been hurting a lot lately?

Not hurting, exactly. But it's been wicked uncomfortable. Every day, a few times a day, for at least over a week or so.

Any ideas why?

Stomach pain could be any number of problems, usually caused by gas and indigestion.  It's hard to say what could be wrong without any of the other possible symptoms, such as bloating, nausea etc.  Have you had a change in your diet recently?  Sometimes our bodies change and we are no longer able to tolerate certain foods like we could at one point, like spicy foods.  There is also the possibility of IBS (irritable bowel syndrome).

    If it's enough to concern you and since it has gone on for as long as it has, I suggest seeing a doctor.

  3. take a look at what you're diet has been like. have you been eating a lot more raw vegetables that you're not used to? it could be gas, you don't have to pass gas to have it. have you had a lot of spicy foods? beans? had a really simple illness you've looked over? even a cold can mess your digestive system up. and are you still using the restroom regularly? here's some tips to help your stomach out for the time being... if it gets worse or lasts for another week I'd go to the doctor.

    stay away from spicy foods.

    cook your vegies, but watch out for corn,  broccoli, onions, and peppers...they're not the easiest on the stomach.

    have a lot of chicken, potatoes, cooked carrots.

    cut down your dairy, especially milk and sour cream.

    drink plenty of water.

    try a fiber suplement.
