Stomach pain doesn't tend to be a period sign.. more like a pregnancy sign.

If you have cramps than thats a different sign.

If you have had unprotected s*x, I would watch your period carefully.

Could be...When I started it didn't have any affect's on me and i just had brown/rust colored stuff ing my underwear!

But of somepeople, they do start with stomache's...
