My stove and oven is not cooling down after I cooked ( and it was over an hour ago). ?

We did pull the oven out last night and did not unplug it, to paint the walls.

Turn the breaker off . If it cools down that indicates a probable short somewhere in the back.Better check it out , could be a dangerous fire hazard!!!!

Turn off breaker and if it does cool down then one of the elements is GROUNDED turn it back on at the breaker and tap the elements if one is warm that might be the problem!
