  3. Make strawberry shortcake! If the strawberries are especially ripe it'll just taste that much more delicious :)

  7. Take the stem off, rinse em, cut em up in lil pieces and pour sugar on em. Put em in a ziploc or Tupperware bowl, stick them in the freezer. Fast and easy and use em when you want to. In recipes, just eat em or top ice cream, cheesecake etc...

    Chop them up and puree for a sauce for shortbread or ice cream

    Add them to a yummy summer salad with almonds and gorgonzola.

    Make a jam

    Buy angel food cake and whipped cream, slice the angel food cake in half width wise, slather on a layer of whipped cream, then cover with chopped strawberries, then place the top half of the angel food cake back on top, then cover again with whipped cream and chopped strawberries. YUM!

  9. I make strawberry sauce, freeze it and then use it later on with ice cream, cake, whipped cream, etc.  Everyone asks for it when they stop by our house!

    Too much work? Then freeze the berries whole-

    Cut off the stem-caps, lay the berries on a cookie sheet and freeze for one hour. Put the frozen berries into a zipper-type bag and freeze. Next time you are having a smoothie, pull out a few frozen berries and drop them into your blender.
