My student is in grade eight and she is a average writer?

do you think sthat she has enough time if she reads ????

like if she started to read chapter books which she does but not very much, do you think her wrtting skills will improve over the period of time? and yes she is in grade eight

  1. You still have time to improve.  Read a lot and try to build your vocabulary!  Good luck.


  2. yeah, im in the eighth grade too and am in the advanced english class.  i may have got there by reading a lot when i was younger.  i dont read much anymore.  only sometimes.  it does improve vocabualary that can give regular essays a sophisticated, excelling look and writing styles.  it's very good for that.  yeah, she'll get better if she reads good advanced books.  i only read books if someone says they are really good like the book series "twilight" by stephenie meyer.  so yeah, she will improve in writing if she reads the right books and a lot of them.

  3. Acutally, no.  You can read everybook in the library and still be unable to write.  What you NEED to become a writer is an imagination and to have expierenced something about the subject you are writing about.
