My student visa appn to US was rejected stating that i have not shown enough ties in India...can somebody help

that i wud come back to india.......how to convice the consular officer that i have the intent to be back.....what will he accept?

  1. If you have a business in India that will convince him/her that you have an incentive to go back.

    arnukk, do you have friends in India and America who have been through this before, maybe talking to them  can help you.

Unfortunately, the visa denial was based on the Consular officer's objective assessment of all of the information you provided.  The problem is that too many citizens of your country, seemingly honest and law abiding, have entered the US on temporary visas and never left.  Although you are welcome to re-apply, until your circumstances change dramatically, you will not see a different outcome.

  4. Family, job, a wife, children...

  5. You can convince the consul that you have ties to go back to India through the following:

    1. Your family must have substantial properties in India,

    2. A credible source of income in India must be shown,

    3. Bank account with substantial money to support your expenses,

    4. You have members of family to remain in India.

  6. Do you REALLY have the intent to come back?

    If you really are connected to India, why leave?
