My stupid vball coach,?

did not play me in the play today.

she "forgot' and said time was running out and that tmrw at the game she would put me in.

apparently i swing my arms when to hit it? any tips? cuz honestly idk what the swining is? thanks, and ne tips on serving ? cuz im really bad at overhand serving.

  1. swinging your arms is when you bring your arms up instead of your legs to push the ball. you should be in position(squat) and rise up when you bump it. your arms just guide the ball, the power comes from your legs.

    -- when setting, your hands should be shaped as the ball above your forehead, in a triangle but your hand should not be touching.

    MY ADVICE is ask your coach for help, that's what i did and i'm a million times better. also don't get mad for not being played, just practice harder and show your coach how much you deserve it. like everyone says practice make perfect so practice practice practice.


  2. okay your coach is a jerk.... your supposed to swing your arms down then up to get momentum when you jump and hit, but whatever. To serve, make sure your toss isn't too high, because its really hard to time it and make sure your wrist is firm and same with you hand. Make sure you hit it with your palm and not your fingertips. oh and follow through! good luck!

  3. to hit you have to use a specific approach im sure you know you have to do left.. rightleft with ur feet. when ur doing that keep ur hands up by ur chest with ur hands facing inward. when you jump put both hands up and swing with your strong hand... putting up both hands gives you more momentum!

  4. My coach said that they DO NOT have to put us in games, we have to try at practice and prove to them we can and want to. They are to put people on to win the game.

    Don't complain over not being played because you might just be cut off. That's what happened to a teammate last year.

    And maybe you just need to practice more, maybe that will help you get game time. Do 200 wall passes, from a step from the wall and another 200 2 steps from the wall.

    STAY LOW.

    and don't go to pass from the sides, get BEHIND the ball and get low, dont swing it all the way up stop when you get to chin level. or else it will pass the ball backwards.

    Swinging is when you throw your arms and just hit the ball without actually knowing and you shank it.

    Tips on serving.

    put your body to your right, left foot on its toes.

    toss the ball 4 feet in the air and when it gets to 2 and a half feet turn your body and slam the ball. remember to turn your hips for more power. Just keep practicing it because i was never good at serving, and i was taken out when i served. but now i make about 95% of my serves.

    Hit with your bottom of your palms. and snap your wrist.
