i have one 12" ma audio 700 watts max and a pyle 1400 watts max amp. they are both new. and i hooked them up and they were working great and then my girlfriend wanted a sub so i got her a new visonik and i had an old amp with i think 300 watts i thought this amp would push that sub so i hooked it up to the smaller amp but 1st i hooked it up 2 the pyle amp to make sure it worked and it did. but anyway when i hooked it up to the small amp it wouldnt push it so then i went to hook my amp back up and then the visonik sub and now it has this crackin sound cuming from the sub so then i hooked my sub back up to the pyle amp and it was doing the same thing.. i just thought maybe it was the fuse so i switch them wit new ones but it still makes the sound.. can any one help me out???

  1. That may be  a simple fix.First check the speaker wires at the amp and the sub....make sure no strands of wire might be touching from the positive to the negative side....or if any strands might me touching metal or the shell of the amp.

If all that is clear, then check voltage with a meter....if you dont have a meter, then jump to and check the RCA or signal cords...If they are cheap thin cords/wire,it may be bad or damages somewhere.

If thats not it,then Im not sure, other than checking your ground source....There have been a few occasions that Ive encouter this on Cheaper amps ....But Im talking REALLY REALLY no name cheap brands....
