My sub keeps booming when i operate something electrical?

Can someone help me i have set up my amp and sub into my car and had it wired up. But now every time i operate the brakes, electric windows or the headlights i get a booming sound out of my sub why does this keep happening?

  1. you do have a constant power wire going directly to the battery and a ground that is the same size right


  2. you can try a noise filter

  3. Make sure that your power supply for the subwoofer amplifier is running directly off the battery and is the proper gauge and fused correctly. If you are branching off another circuit in your cars electrical system with incorrect wiring you will experience problems like this. You may eventually burn something up.

    If thats not the case, you may be pulling too much power and may need something like a capacitor or an aux. battery to supply your amplifiers.
