My subs stay on after the vehicle is shut off. What steps can i take to fix this problem?

you have your remote wire hooked up to a constant 12v source

which is why you hook it up to your radio

so when you shut the car off, the radio goes off, so your subs go off.

i had the same problem. Is you remote turn on lead connected to a constant 12v power sorce? such as a lighter,or a switch? this could be why it stays on when the car is off.

Did connect power cord directly to battery ?

hook the amp up right. there are three wires that hook up to the amp for power the power, ground, and remote. the remote is the one that turns the amp on/off. you need to hook it to a power source that turns on and off with the key. dont need to be to much power.
