I usually feed him natural chicken or turkey. He doesn't like meal worms at all or wax worms. So I don't know what to do!!

  1. A glider that doesn't like mealworms? Are you sure? Just kidding, sort of.

If your glider isn't eating, then try feeding it unseasoned, cooked chicken, cooked eggs, or baby food that's a meat flavor.

Is he a lone glider? If he is, he's probably depressed and isn't eating on purpose. It's not very rare for lone sugar gliders to get so lonely and depressed that they'll starve themselves to death. If he is alone, get him a companion.

  2. Try feeding it baby food chicken flavor or turkey or steak . . . or let it go wild!! Send it to its home!!

  3. There are plenty of alternative protein sources. Here are a few!

    1) Yogurt ((I use Yoplait, you have to be careful what kind you get!!!)) They really like blueberry, vanilla and strawberry.

    2)  Baby food.  Chicken or turkey.

    3)  PLAIN chicken.  Baked.  No seasonings!

    4) A mixture of shredded up chicken and vanilla yogurt.  Sounds gross, but mine go wild for it with a tiny bit of honey mixed in.

    5)  Grasshoppers.

When I had a sugar glider who wouldn't eat mealworms/grasshoppers, I rotated these protein sources.
