  1. no cactus flowers would be part of a natural diet for them you can feed a tortoise the flowers and despined leaves from a prickly pear and they are full of calcium , our friend had a big impressive opunia (prickly pear) and they decided to over winter their sulcatas in the room where their cactus was, the sulcatsa really enjoyed the natural treat (they cactus was not so happy though) in the wild a sulcata would eat lots of flowers (including violas, petunias, nausrum, African violets) so don't worry too much if you feed the leaves as well it will do your hatchlings a world of good. but you need to make sure your tortosie gets a balenced diet an addiction to one food is not good but as part of a balenced diet it is ok

  2. well i feed my sulcata hatchlings reeses peanut butter cups and lemons on a regular basis and they seem to be ok. i think they'll be fine
