Thank you, to the first three responders. I'd also like to know something further: do you think a career in art or acting would make sense, considering my first question?

  1. SUN in AQUARIUS

As the eleventh sign of the zodiac, Aquarius represents the eleventh stage in the evolution of man and his place in the universe. In Aquarius, the individuality of man so carefully nurtured in Leo, now becomes part of the greater spectrum of society as a whole. Capricorn sets up the structure and rules of society, and Aquarius takes on the role of making the organizations of society function as the people-oriented institutions they were intended to be. Aquarians are the original "organization men" of the zodiac. Their societal orientation, loyalty, fairness, and objective nature are reasons why they tend to attract many friends and acquaintances in life. Though they are not above wanting to live well, many Aquarians are more interested in people than they are in amassing great wealth or taking on the responsibilities that invariably accompany such a life style. When they cannot afford some luxury, they rationalize why they didn't need it in the first place.

Aquarians are stubborn and resist changing their opinions or accepting new ideas that they do not like or with which they do not agree. Big changes in life are accepted as a challenge, but small changes that throw off their plans are not tolerated very well. The astrological symbol for Aquarius is the figure of a man pouring water. The water is seen as mankind's collective consciousness. It depicts Aquarians as disseminators of the spirit of humanity. Many Aquarians, in tune with their celestial heritage, are idealists who champion the highest principles to which humanity can aspire. However they are also extremely independent thinkers. When confronted with authoritarian demands or dogmatic principles to which they do not subscribe, they rebel. They may hesitate to take the initiative at times, but once they decide a situation or idea is worthwhile, they become involved and aggressive in pushing it forward. They don't mind being asked to do something but they resent being told to do it. Those who want to gain their favor will help share the work load without being asked.

Aquarians react to everything they experience in life with an intellectual orientation. Before they take physical action, before they assess the practical worth of something, and before they sort out their true emotions, they try to visualize it objectively as a kind of mental exercise. In relationships, their intellectual approach makes them appear interested but not particularly passionate or possessive. It does not necessarily mean they really lack passion. When they do focus their feelings, their passion can be as intense as it is inspirational.

The modern ruler of Aquarius is Uranus, planet of the unorthodox and eclectic mentality of mankind. The ancient ruler of Aquarius is Saturn, planet of restriction and structure. Such different characteristics seem to directly contradict one another, but a close look at the Aquarian personality shows that both planets co-exist in a strangely compatible way. Aquarians demonstrate association with Uranus by being unpredictable. Saturn's influence gives them stability. The two influences generally mean that when Aquarians suddenly change course, or do something unpredictable, they are not likely to be acting on a whim or a bet but for some very practical or advantageous reason. They favor the unique as well as the traditional. Sometimes they are either so involved with the past (history and antiques) or so tuned in to the future (spaceships and neon clothes) they lose track of the present. Exhibiting the stability of Saturn, they may live unvaried, even boring lives; feeling very comfortable and secure in such an unchanging, stable environment. Sooner or later however, they are apt to encounter circumstances that make it hard for them to know what they will be doing next. They often adopt life styles and ideas that are counter to current trends. The odd and unique fascinate them, and they are rarely caught off guard by abnormal situations and strange people.

Aquarians are good eaters but may not care what's on the menu. Most of them are indifferent cooks. As long as they can participate with a partner, or as part of a team they are enthusiastic about sports and, as a result, may not have trouble keeping physically fit. When left on their own however, they become lazy and reluctant to engage in what to them is a lonely series of exercises with which they quickly become bored. Broad jumping, camping, ballooning, tennis, swimming, racquetball, and baseball are some of their favorite activities. Science and engineering, international finance, writing, music, psychology or social work are areas of special interest to Aquarians.

Aquarian colors are silver, aqua, and purple and the more electric shades of pink and blue. Vulnerable parts of the body are the shins, ankles, and circulatory system. Cramps, allergies, sudden illness and freak accidents are common Aquarian complaints, though they may also suffer from various nervous disorders. The birthstone for Aquarius is amethyst. This gem is believed to confer stability and mental poise on those who wear it. Flowers for Aquarians are the more unusual blossoms and include the gladioli, tiger lily, trillium, bird of paradise, and jack-in-the-pulpit.

    MOON IN TAURUS

Familiarity is important to Lunar Taureans. These people are earthy and strong-willed. They feel with their senses and they are pretty much rooted in their ways. They revel in material comforts--in fact, building a solid and comfortable home and foundation helps to keep them feeling safe and content.

It isn't wise to try to push Lunar Taureans into doing anything, but once they have made a commitment, they're persevering.

There's a steadiness to this position of the Moon that is comforting to those close to them. But the conservative streak in these natives can be maddening to more progressive personalities. They tend to go out of their way to avoid "messy" or unpredictable situations, crises, and emotional displays. Instead, they focus on creating a reliable and secure life around them. In relationships, Lunar Taureans may not easily recognize their partner's need for change, growth, or emotional stimulation.

Moon in Taurus natives are generally very romantic. Their affections are strong, deep, and unwavering. They are sentimental and warm. Since Taurus is a practical earth sign, the placement of the Moon in this sign suggests an ability to protect themselves and their own interests. They will rarely make a move without first determining that it is safe and that there's something in it for them.

Generally, Taurus Moon people have reliable instincts. They are very much tied to the physical world, and they often have a particularly well-developed sense of smell.

Relationships with people born with this position of the Moon are often quite enduring. Many Moon in Taurus people hang onto their mates, even in the face of serious conflict. Taurus is a fixed sign, so break-ups don't happen easily.

There is a serenity to them that is calming. In fact, it takes a lot to really get to them. However, they do get off-center every once in a while. They are not the most adaptable people when their own routine is interrupted, for example.

Though some Lunar Taureans might be considered anal, most simply have a stubborn streak that keeps them rather resistant to change. Rarely are they spontaneous sorts. Uncomfortable with surprises, these natives value stability. Their needs are strong but quite simple at the same time--they love the "good things" in life. The world of the five senses is all-important to these natives. Their love of stability and steadiness can make them slaves to routine. However, they are loyal and capable people.

RISING SUN ( ASCENDANT ) IN ARIES

People with Aries Ascendants are direct and quick. Their first instinct is to do, rather than think. Planning ahead? Forget it. Aries rising simply charges forward without much ado.

This position does not make a person aggressive. Forthright, yes, but aggression is too strong a word for these natives. They have a youthful, direct manner that sees what it wants and generally goes for it. At the same time, there isn't any malice in their intent.

Some Aries rising people are competitive, but they generally put most of the pressure on themselves. These people love to come out ahead in all that they do. They get ready quickly, walk quickly, and have little patience for dilly-dallying. Their temper is quick, too. It's also quick to disappear. Rarely do you find Aries rising people holding grudges. Their mannerisms are rather simple and straightforward.

Aries rising loves action, and is often trying to stir up some activity. Their strengths lie in their enterprising ways. Finishing things they start does not always come as easily, unless the ruler, Mars, is placed in a more tenacious sign, such as Taurus or Scorpio.

Aries Ascendant often gives a rather swift walk, with the head leaning forward slightly. This walk is surprisingly distinctive. Headaches, and sinus and eye problems are the usual physical complaints of this position. Rashes and acne on the face and shoulders sometimes occur. Broad shoulders and slim hips are common. Often, Aries rising people are quick to smile, and they possess a youthful charm throughout life.

Probably early on in life, Aries rising people got typecast as the "independent" child. As adults, people with Aries Ascendants often stick to that role in life. People don't run to help them out -- they appear quite fine doing things on their own. These people have learned to be self-reliant, and this generally stems from their early experiences.

Despite a rather brusque and independent manner, these natives are usually very willing to compromise in their relationships, and are very attached to the pe

  2. Well, you're going to have a hard time concentrating on one thing at a time. Your Aquarius Sun and Aries Ascendant are going to make you feel as if you have to do everything--all at once. This could be a problem, as neither one of these signs likes to actually finish anything they start. They LOVE to start things though! You might find yourself scattered every which way and you might have a difficult time staying on track.

The only place you'll be a steady person is deep in your heart. You'll WANT to have a very calm and ordinary love life, but your other personality traits are not going to let you! They will want you to be attracted to anyone who is slightly "dangerous" or different; and you will need a lot of intellectual stimulation in any love relationship you have. You'll find yourself bouncing from one person to another looking for the ideal partner, or the person who will completely satisfy you--and that will be very hard to find.

You need a lot of stimulation in all facets of your life: you want to be constantly entertained. A creative partner is a must for you--the last thing you will want is boredom, but down deep inside, you will crave that steadiness that only a long-term relationship can give you.

When it comes to a career, you may be unable to fix on one for a long time--and you might end up working at something you dislike for a long time while you "dabble" in everything else. Keep your options open, and learn to complete projects, and you'll do better than you think. You probably will be very successful running your own business--if you can find someone else to do the bookkeeping. Mundane or tedious tasks will simply not interest you, so hire yourself a good accountant.

Try to keep things from flying apart, or piling up unfinished. Train yourself early to get something completely done before moving on to another project or person--and you'll find a lot more satisfaction. Distraction is not your friend, though you might think it is--it makes you charming, but it doesn't make you useful--and the older you get, the more useful you are going to want to be.

  3. Hi Aquarius! We have our sun & rising signs in common my moon is different though ;) I'll tell you an explaination for each placement, but first the basics. Your sun sign is your personality & ego that you show when comfortable & being yourself. Your moon sign is your inner self & emotional side mostly hidden unless you are secure around others to show it. The rising sign is your first impression to others & how you feel comfortable showing yourself to others. The face, a face behind the face, and the mask that covers them. They are all apart of you though along with your whole birth chart. SUN IN AQUARIUS~They are a fixed/air/positive sign as well. Fixed meaning that you are stuck in your little ways & can be stubburn to changes & ideas. Fixed signs like to finish what they start & have a strong, confident, and opinionated character. As an air sign that makes you more intellectual than emotional, a good communicator, a peace maker, jumpy, fun, adventurous, unpredicatble, and detached. Being positive means more out going & forgiving less sensitive to things, optimistic, etc. For an aquarius alone you can be kind of contradicting, since we are a paradox sign. The aquarian personality can be unpredictable & hard to understand for some people. They like big groups & freinds & can talk about anything, but they also like "me" time & like to be separate from the world to think on their emotions. Aquarians are known to be "unemotional" & detached people only because feeling comes hard to them & too many emotions can make them uncomfortable. They like their independance from others & will get very rebellious in order to keep it. They like to be loyal, honest, friendly, logical, assertive, blunt, caring, humanitarian, off beat, charming, etc etc etc. Aquarians are also know to be very off beat & like to do things their way no matter if it is hard or easy it has to go their way. Aquarians are detached which can also make them very open minded to all kinds of people so they are accepting. On their dark side they can be very unpredictable, rebels, ideal, rude, moody when you don't let them be alone, they 'seem' very cold & insenstive, they can also be eccentric etc etc etc....you can look more into their paradox if you want too or ask....... Moon in Taurus~ This position for the moon can make a person very set in their ways & a security seeker. They don't like to change & they like to be comfortable or calm. Taurus moons seem very reliable, hard working, deep rooted, & sensual. They can be patient people, but emotions & anger can run high & for a long time when set off but they like to stay in serernity. Emotions are very deep, but they like affection & being physical to feel secure & can sometimes be possessive........Rising in Aries~ This can be a quick & fast person so much that they can be easliy irritated by slowness of others & can be insensitive about it or anything as well. They have a very energitic & out going feel to them. They like to be independant, direct, & forward, but they are not aggresive people at all. Even though temper can come quick it goes quick too & they are forgiving people. Some aries rising people can be sporty or competive with others needing to come first. They are also determined & fiery people, but some of their passion for things can burn out. Over all a quick thinker & doer.........All together this aquarian could be more affectionate or passionate with people, but detachment is still there. They also like to think on things a lot for the future & act on it quickly but safely. Just mix it up more to see you and do look & consider your whole chart because it makes a difference......I hope I helped you out :D
