I finally video taped my swing and I realized how slow my swing is. I use a regular shaft. What is another shaft option that

can help my game considering this slow swing?

  1. I dont exactly know how slow your swing speed is however you can check that by going to a local golf store and trying what I believe is called a speed stick. It is just what sounds like a stick you swing to measure your speed. If you are below 80mph and you dont think your swing will be speeding up then you may consider a senior flex which is the weakest flex. Otherwise regular flex will fit the bill. It will cover 80 -105mph anything 105+mph and your going to want a stiff shaft. I am partial to King Cobra speed tuned drivers. Other things to keep in mind is depending on what your flight trajectory is you can look at different kick points in the shaft.

  2. How far you can hit with your driver... if you hit less than 200 yards, maybe ladies shaft should be good.

I use ladies shaft for my son (9 years old)... his swing speed about 75 and he hit his driver average 170 yards.

    see his video http://www.youtube.com/jutas98

  3. There's no generic answer, particularly because one manufacturer's regular flex is another's senior or stiff flex. So you can't go on flex alone.

If you have a truly slow swing, then a regular or senior flex may be the answer ... but you won't know how slow you really are until you have yourself fitted.

  4. well, your vision can be deceptive. I recommend going to see a pro and having them actually look at your real swing speed. I would probably have to say that you are safe though with a regular flex.

  5. You should show us the video on a link because you may just think your swing is slow but it might not be.

  6. Stay with regular it might not be your swing that needs help see a golf pro
