My swordtail babies?

my swordtail has had one baby now and she had 1 in like 20 mins is that normal i have had a close eye on her so its not like she eating them is there anything i can do

you can buy a breeder tank which helps save the babies and turn the lights of in the tank it can stress them out and they are more likly tro have there babies in the night hope this helped

Put something in the water for the babies to hide in like a floating artificial plant, feed the fish as you normally would, maintain the temperature in the tank, and let mother nature take its course!!!  Most live-born fish are miniature versions of their parents and instinct is the key source to their survival.
