I tried by running the program SERVICES.MSC, but I dont have the Windows audio properties. in other words It still does not work.

  1. 1.

control panel > sounds and audio devices

Is the volume tab, is your sound device listed, Greyed out , if yes No driver installed for Sound Card or Integrated sound or either sound card is not installed in slot.

Go to audio tab , whats the default audio device or is it greyed out , If  its greyed out your Drivers are not installed or sound card is not read or its gone bad.

    2. go to Run> type

    devmgmt.msc

    Expand Sound,video and game controllers

Check if your Sound device is listed there. Check if any devices their have yellow exclamation mark or a Red Cross next to it

yellow exclamation means driver has some conflict or driver is not installed , install driver by right clicking.

Red cross means that device is disabled , enable it by right clicking on it.

    3. Run > services.msc

check if you have a Service called "WIndows Audio" check if its started and automatic , if not,  Start it.

    reply if you have prob.

  2. Sounds like you have no sound software installed for your sound card. Do you have a sound card?

If so find the CD that came with it and install whatever is on that disc, and that should solve the problem.

If you don't have a CD, go to the manufacturer's website and find it there.
