  1. Have you done anything to hurt your back?  How about straining with your arms up over your head?  I hurt my back 16 years ago.  About 2 weeks after the back pain first started, I started developing the pain in my tailbone area just the way you described.  At first it was more of a discomfort than anything.  Then, it got to where I couldn't even sit without a great deal of pain.  Even after 3 back surgeries, I can not do ANY sitting today, and I mean ANY!   I haven't driving a car since 1994!

So, make sure you tell a doctor about any back problems or potential injuries you may have had.  It may only be some kind of strain that you've had.  The doctors need to know everything they can - whether they admit it or not!

  2. go see the doctor

  3. I would go and see a doctor. You have a tail bone called the coccyx which could be damaged.  Its been hurting for too long, speak to your Mum and go to the doctor.

  4. I had the same problem, and I believe the main reason was spending much time on the computer with improper sit, and sleeping on an unhealthy bed (not flat or comfortable),... sometimes the mattress is curved at the butt place therefore you will suffer troubles progressively in your vertebral column.

so you should check out your daily habits and do more exercises everyday in the morning.
