My task bar is now on the side, how do you get it back on the bottom where it belongs?

My kid was playing on the computer and now my task bar that is normally on the bottom is now on the right side going up and down. how do i change this back?

hold left-click on the grey part of the task bar, while pulling it down to the bottom.

edit:

Right click the task bar and uncheck the "lock the taskbar". Then drag it down.

Right-click on the task bar and select Lock the taskbar. After that just hold the mouse button down on the taskbar and drag your mouse to the bottom of the screen until it looks normal and release. Then right-click again and check the Lock the taskbar.

did you try to drag it down?

you have to right click it. to unlock the task bar and then drag it and then lock it..
