My tattoo idea.......????????

i am think about getting tattoo of a couple of little paw prints and my dogs name between them somehow is this a good idea? and where should i get it??

Can I just ask - how old are you?

Because I don't think getting a tattoo of any old thing just for the sake of it is such a great idea. You don't sound so convinced about it yourself. Imagine yourself in ten years time. Will you look at it and think - 'wow, i'm so glad i got that done' - or will it be more a case of - 'why did i bother' - ?

Will a couple of puppy prints and a name mean anything to you when you're fifty? Doubtful.

As far as the design goes, I couldn't think of anything tackier. Do you remember a few years ago when lots of blokes started getting Beckham - style tattoos? How awful do they look now? Its all well and good following the latest trend, but that is something you'll be stuck with for good, even when fashions change.

Sorry for picking your idea to bits. If I thought it was a good idea, I'd say so. But its not. Spend your money if you like. Spend it on something memorable. I just can't see why you need to etch something so pointless on your skin.

you should get the actual print of your dogs paw tho. paint the dogs paw in paint and then print it on a paper and then tattoo it on your ancle.

you should be absolutely 100% certain you want that.  If it really means something to you then you should get it.  As far as where to put it it should be where you want it, taking suggestions is a good idea but ultimately the decision rests with you.

i think you should make sure thats absolutely what you want

you definitely dont want to rush into getting something that will be on you for the rest of your life

...trust me, thats what i did

but if that is what you really want, oyu should do it.

maybe some place that can be covered up if needed, & also shown  when you want.

I like it because it is personal. I would somehow make it your dog's paw prints (unless they're huge) and put it on your shoulder blade.

when your older, are you gunna want this tattoo? i think not. tattoos are usually regretted within 10 - 15 yrs. Don't do it!! its permanant. it WILL fade as you get older, just a bunch of wrinkles and ink when you get older. When your 50, if you want it, then get it. Not reccomended though.

I have my dog Hennessey's name with two paw prints below it on the outside of my ankle and then I have my other dog Alize's name with two paw prints under it on the inside of my ankle. It is really just a matter of personal preference where you get. Good Luck!
