My tattoo look like it cracking?

i just got it like 3 days ago

ive been putting this bacitracin ointment usp

is there somthing im doing wrong? please help

its just scabbing and healing. im not sure you need bacteria ointment tho, some infections actually live off the stuff. wash it in clean wtaer three or four times a day and use something like e45 cream, or nappy rash cresm- just a small amount rubbed well in. dont leave excess cream or use vasaline. it tkes upto two weeks for all the scab to fall off- try not to pick at it, and it can take upto a month for it to look healed. the healing acctually happens from the outside in and takes upto three months to be complete.

dont panic after just a few days, wait two weeks and if its still worring you pop back to the artist who did it for taylored advice

No, you arn't doing anything wrong. They just do that in the early phase of the healing process. Enjoy your new ink!

Nope! Nothings wrong with it at all. Scabbing is a natural part of your tattoos healing. When you fall down and scrape your knee, your knee scabs, right? It's the same thing! Your tattoo is an open wound and is trying to heal itself! Interesting, huh?

It's normal and you don't need to put that cream on it. A light, unscented moisturiser no more than a couple of times a day is OK. It's better to put nothing on it than over-moisturise.

it's completely natural for your tattoo to peel, which is what I think it's doing... it's just shedding away the dead skin you burned.

it"s all part of the healing process, i got one done 4 days ago, and it"s doing exactly the same, as long as you keep putting the cream on you"ve nothing to worry about

when tattoos are healing they peel. Just before they begin to peel it can look like they are cracked, i freaked out about this for my first tattoo also. If you are overly concerned about it, go back to your artist and show them just so they can assure you, it is their job they wont mind. Just ensure you keep it moisturised and dont pick or scratch it.
