My tattoo looks cracked/scaly?

i got my tattoo two weeks ago and sometimes it looks cracked..after i apply lotion or wash it, it looks fine...should i be concerned?

well the top layour of your skin might be coming off..but im not sure, if you have shaved over it when you first got it..that could be a prolum to..!

no it'll do that for a while, just keep putting stuff on it whenever it looks dry, mine did that too.

Usually after 2 weeks it should be fully healed. The cracked/scaly look is normal during healing process. Did you go swimming or something within 2 weeks of getting the tattoo? Did you keep it open to the sun too often? Maybe you're just taking a long time to heal. Either way, 2 weeks is normally how long it takes to fully heal. I'd ask the tattooist.
