  1. no and yes

  2. Well, it depends, are you that ugly? He may have a case

  3. He had absoultley NO RIGHT, to say anything like that, and you were doing the right thing by telling the Boss. Not only to get justice for yourself, but also so that the teacher can no longer harass other students.

  4. How can a teacher send a student to a plastic surgeon's office? Under what authority? Sounds fishy to me.

  5. A) he was WAY out of bounds

    B) you go girl

  6. that was so mean for him to call you ugly you did tha right thing

  7. I doubt your sincerity here.  No teacher can 'send' you to a plastic surgeon's office. That just doesn't ring true.

  8. what the h**l? If your teacher meant what he sayd then yeah you had the right to tell his boss.

One of my old teachers would fool around and call us names but he never meant to hurt us or anything.

  9. One of the first rules of good teaching is to never humiliate your students. No one has the right to humiliate another person, but your teacher sort of breached one or two of the three rules that can get any teacher dismissed: moral turpitude, insubordination, or incompetence. While he wasn't exactly breaching morals, he was being insensitive- which would get him written up in more than a few school. He wasn't exactly incompetent, but he wasn't being an effective teacher, which could lead to a write-up or a plan of assistance in more than a few school.

Unless your teacher is your guardian, he can't send you to a doctor, though he could recommend it. Neat thing about a recommendation is that you can always consider it then toss it out. You did the right thing in reporting his abusive behavior. If I were the principal or assistant principal over him, I would document the behavior and I would call a conference in order for him to fully apologize to you- with your parents present.

  10. Every right to do what you did.  And I would take it a step furthre and appear at the school board meeting during open session.  I would bring this matter to their attention.

  11. good for you  ..

you showed him that you can stand on your own & will not be bullied..

    & yes you were right..

  12. No. That was an ugly thing for you to have done.

Does anyone understand that they are joking here? No teacher would do such a thing.

  13. really?!?

  14. absolutly, telling someone their ugly is unacceptable, especially if they are a teacher, i hope they loose their job!

  15. What ever happened to "sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me?"

  16. He had no right to do that and you have every right to tell someone if you feel you are being wronged!

  17. OMG of course you have a right to tell his boss!! That is sooo mean calling someone ugly!

  18. He wanted to play rough? He got what he asked for. Feel no guilt.

  19. You did. A teacher has no right saying that to you. You did the correct thing by reporting him.

  20. Your teacher sent you to a plastic surgeons office??? So.....

    did you go?????
