I hope your teacher said that you had to write using correct  English spelling, grammar and sentence construction.  What else can I use? A Spelling Check could be a start.

In my opinion, I think that the book is full of suspense, becomes:

The book is full of suspense.

When you first start getting rid of the personal pronouns, it sounds "funny", but once you get in the habit, it's automatic.

Added:  Yeah, now that others have mentioned it, don't forget to complete the step of "proofreading" as you revise.  I'm quite sure that I don't even know what "deseptive apperance" about a "book" is, but  . . .as long as you know, the tips about  writing will work.  (And I've been around book reports since 1958)

Your teacher wants you to use third person...he, she, they.  When you write using "you" or "we," that means you are involved in the viewpoint.  The purpose of a research paper is to synthesize the findings and viewpoints of others, not you.
