Yeah, if you arrive to an exam late, that's bad, cuz you won't get a seat where you want to sit and also you will miss the directions at the beginning and you will also have 4 minutes less on the test. Arrive to an exam 10 minutes early or at least 5 mins early.

For class, it's ok to be one or two mins late, but teachers like to do a review of the last class of make special announcements during the first minutes of class, so be there if youcan.

I think it's crazy too. It's Your exam, you should be concerned about it. Why arrive late? Don't you want to get all the time you need for the exam? And it disturbs the rest of the students when you walk into the room, closing the door behind you, the sounds of your shoes tapping on the floor as you walk, the sounds of you   asking people to move out of the way so you can get to an empty chair, the sounds of you adjusting the chair and getting your utensils, the sounds of the teacher walking to you and hand you an exam paper, etc.... it's terribly disturbing.

So you wrote this question in order for people to tell you it's ok to walk into class late? Really? You don't think being late is a problem? That's disrespectful of your teacher and your classmates. It boggles my mind that you really think it's your god-given right to show up when you feel like it and then complain about it.

well it is because when everyone is there on time 4 min later out of nowhere u come in and say sry for being late and disrupts the whole class
