My techwood lcd widescreen tv wont stay on?

Question

I turn it on in morning it stays on for 1 hour, then it goes off for the rest of the day, won't come on til following morning,when it is on picture is fine, then it just goes off not even staying on stand by??

may be it's on a timer have you checked or sometimes buttons stick on your remote
