My tele changes channels on its own and turns itself on, no we dont have a dicky remote or poltergist . why?

Probably your tv is not so good anymore. Try to get it somewhere it can be fixed or buy another.

just make sure u dont have a ghost.but thentry to replace the remote,or unplug all wires from the tv.if that dont work ur tv might have overheated,so just leave it be for 3  days or so

There's either a short in the box or a small human behind the couch with a second remote.

First off, check the specs for your TV and see if you can find out whether the remote is infra-red (IR) or radio frequency (RF).  If it's RF, then you're probably getting interference from a radio transmitter, a cordless phone, or something similar in your vicinity.  

If it's IR, then you can still be getting interference from something in the room (it has to be line of sight) that's giving off infra-red signals.  Some computers and PDAs have IR ports - check to see if they have been turned off.

If you can locate the IR receiver on the TV (it may show up as a small black plastic rectangle) then try covering this with some opaque electrician's tape (or even a book).  If that solves the problem, then it's not in your TV.  But if the TV still acts independently, then you've got bigger problems.

technology is getting better all the time , but a tele that turns itself on wow, i hope it dosen,t get too randy. the s**y thing.
