My tevion DVD recorder 250

Question

My tevion DVD recorder 250 hdd suddenly refuses to "open".The red light indicates that it is switched on and yert the CD drawer does not open.I was away foe a few months and I found the problem when I came back.Could it be that the fault was caused by a storm?Is there a re-set button that I should look for.?[e-mail]
