My thighs muscles ae super sore i cant even sit down.?

they are so sore from my weights class but i need them not to be for the upcoming days.

what can i do to relieve them?

  1. take an ice bath or sit with ice on your thighs whichever is less painful

    As micro tears are normal in muscle tissue during routine training, which is the reason your muscles feel sore after a hard workout, extended soreness over 3 days is not normal.

    Stretch them, slowly.   Sit on your heels, with your back straight. If this causes pain in your feet or knees that is unbearable, go no further.

    Sit for a few minutes to stretch out the top portion of your ankles and feet, as well as your quads.

    Reach back evenly with both hands, and you will feel more of a stretching sensation.

    Ease into the position, and lower your body slowly until you can rest on your elbows, then shoulders and back of head.

    Do not bounce out of the position,or roll to one side to get out of the position. Raise your body just like you got into it: evenly and slowly.

    Repeat 5 times and do this at least 3 times a day. Drink lots of non fat milk and have a banana, then see if you can have a warm tub bath, and you'll feel better.

  3. ice them a lot, then try to warm them up. repeat this process a few times. make sure you stretch when your done with a cycle so you dont tighten up so much you tear something later. good luck
