Oh what a terrible thing to have happened.I do not know how I would react. I really cant understand why someone did not try to overcome this person.Surely someone could have done something.

That's terrible and very freaky. I live only about 45 mins from where it happened I've never heard of anything like this happening this close before. It is sad that no one tried to help the young man but I imagine it happened so fast that people didn't have time to react properly. And if someone was trying to get back there to help it would have been pretty hard fighting your way through the fleeing crowd in time. I don't think we should judge the witnesses so harshly. I hope the killer gets put away for a long time. Too bad we don't have the death penalty.

This is rather scary and horrific for everyone involved.

It's just utterly indescribable. I have to ride a greyhound bus all night tonight and I am scared as h**l. There's some sick sick people out there. My heart goes out to the family and the passengers affected.

Couldn't someone have hit that monster on the head with something before the guy died or tried to do something to save him???  I don't get how its heroic to keep him on the bus and not cowardly not to try to save the victim???  Then, hey, perhaps everyone was in shock, its not exactly something you see everyday.  I guess I shouldn't judge them when I don't know how I would have reacted.

there were 37 passengers on that bus plus the driver- the really sad thing is that no one tried to help the poor boy.WHY?

Think of all those passengers, could you imagine seeing something like that? I know I’d just shut down. And just on the off chance anyone knows him way to go caton, who knows he could've saved more ppls lives.

The thing is it wasn't as detailed as it is, would we take as much notice? Would I be sat here typing thinking of the poor lad’s family as I am, praying for them, hoping for justice?

I'm a little surprised that no one tried to take down the attacker... but it is very possible that there just wasn't a chance or opportunity to do it.... Wow, decapitated the poor man... what a loon.
