  1. Depending on the placement of the stings, you should check to see if the stinger is still embedded, if it is, by SCRATCHING it out, you can alleviate the pain. Usually, only bees leave stingers.

If you pinch the stinger, you will push more venom into the wound, Scratching it out (gently) with a piece of thick paper or your nails can help get it out.

You can place some honey on the injury to help with the external pain. Call your vet and tell them the weights of your dog so you can get appropriate dosages of benadryl for them to help with the itching. You can also make a paste with baking soda and water and put it on the wound (without honey on it!) to extract any toxins.

If the stings are inside the dogs mouth or on the nose, take them to the vet immediately. A sting can swell and inhibit breathing.

If your dog ever starts breathing heavily, shaking, frothing (foaming at the mouth), refusing water, throwing up, or collapsing, you HAVE to get your dog to the vet. Many pets are allergic to stings.

  2. take them to the vet  they will check them out

  3. CALL A VET AND STOP PLAYING ON THE INTERNET!!

  4. Yes, take them to the vet or call the vet.  I hope they're ok.

  5. well I'm not sure but google it and see if the bites are effective to dogs

  6. i starred for some of my more knowledgable contacts.

a cool bath is a good idea, but i BELIEVE you can also give them children's BENEDRYL. but i'm not sure of the dosage.

    CALL your vet and ask.

    thanks Patient Paws!

  7. Not much you can do. Just put some cool water in the tub and place them in it. This will sooth the pain. Also, take your finger and put some baking soda on the stings. Won't hurt dogs if they l**k some of it.

  8. if they start to get really lethargic or if they start to breathe heavily, take them to the vet right away. and if you vet isn't open today take them to the a vet emergency.

  9. take them to the vet

  10. Benedryl 1 mg per pound of body weight for a dog . tablets you can break in half .

  11. try putting a mix or baking powder or whatever that stuff is called and water it'll make a paste that extracts the poisen and the stinger is there is one in there
