My three-month old goose moves his neck up and down as if irritated and now has a swollen crop. Any help?

it sounds as if  your gosling has a condition known as crop binding ...  .

he is moving his head up and down cos he is trying to move something loadged in his throat

It happens when the young or any aged goose eats grass or too big of bits of food

that is too long and gets caught in the cropand throat and cannnot be digested ....

if you are a novice with geese/chickens etc

you won't be able to do it yourself ..

so go to a vet ..

in the mean time don't give foo only water ... and if possible make it warmish

(not too hot to burn)

this might and should soften the contents a bit
