My son just turned 3 and he is having surgery at the end of Sept, the Dr said he should not be active for a week or 2. I was looking into getting him a plug-in diego game for the tv. He got 2 big giant fuzzy coloring books for his birthday that just past, but there is so much coloring he will want to do. Any suggestions please??

  4. Is your child haveing his tonsils and Adinoids removed"sp?"? If so get lots of popsicles, lots of mac n cheese easy mac, ice cream, and chicken or beef broth with soft cooked pastas. Stock up on his fav movies, picture books,  Leap pad comforted my daughter when she had hers out that and the mac n cheese bowls..lol. While hes on bedrest ask the doctor if he can sit at the kitchen table  and pudding finger paint I love doing this with my girls and they sneak some pudding too. Or finger painting with the Crayola color wonder collection where it only works on special paper. We would sit out on our deck and bird watch, or look at the squirrls dancing around out side. Watch Animal Planet Funniest Videos, or Americas Funniest home Videos too. We did a finger shadow puppet show one night. We went online to  check out halloween costume ideas for this fall and found some super silly ideas for mommie and daddie.

Just try a few of the ideas suggested if your interested or work them to suit your needs. Good luck to your family and your son. Also if your in his first stage revocery bring ear plugs most 3 yr olds react strongly to the anesthisia when they slowly wake up. I didnt and I couldnt hear for 2 days properly my daughter screamed so loudly. Now my 6 yr old gets to have this sugery oh yippee earplugs here I come..lol
