How can I stop this!?!?!?!!? I am eating a great burger right now and I can't enjoy it because of this burning in my throat. Can I just use a cough drop or something to make it better? This started yesterday after I came home with a fever, it was raining so I got wet. Could the rain be what is causing all this? What can I eat/drink that will not burn my throat!?!?!? Even if I am not swallowing anything it will hurt a lot!! I'm gonna cry if I don't get this fixed :(

  1. Trying eating like ice pops, maybe the cold for them will help! Some say salt water will help, never tryed it but I'm told it works. hope you feel better!

  2. It sounds like you might have strep throat. Other problems could be the flu or even allergies can cause your throat to become sore. For instance my allergies get worse when its rains. Although if its that painful with a fever you should see a doctor, because if it is strep you will need antibiotics.
