My throat hurts on and off for 3 weeks already. Is it dengerous? What can it be? ?

Maybe Sore Throat or a virus could of entered your mouth off of something

I would definetly go to the doctor's if I was you. You could have an infection or strep. When you're sick for a long time and don't get medical help, it could start to make your organs fail. For example, if you have strep throat and it is undiagnosed, it could spread to the kidneys and cause kidney failure. And you don't want to be hooked up to a dialysis machine for the rest of your life, three days a week, three hours... So go get it checked, just in case....

it could be  a number of things. You should see a Dr.   but here are a few, some are serious and you should be checked.  because its a come and go thing i'd  guess sinus drainage either from infection or  allergies, possibly mono if you are also  fatigued and have other  symptoms, i included links for you.

Allergies

virus

bacterial infection such as strep

eating something that irritated  it ( something you're allergic to or too much acidic food or drink)

Acid reflux ( that usually is lower but can irritate the throat too)

mononucleosis

tonsillitis
