My throat is closing up when I swallow?

Why is it doing that? It kind of hurts. Am I allergic to something in the air?

It could be an allergic reaction to something (food, air, medicine dust, animal etc.) or it could be tonsillitis.Try to gargle with warm salt water or take Benadryl.  If that doesn't help see your Dr.

u should go get an allergy test and then get the weekly allergy shots and then u ask your doc to prescribe you an epi pen in case u get a severe allergic reaction

Allergies or the beginning of strep. Try a cough drop and if it doesnt help you should probably call a doctor. =3
